Livefoods By Post Ltd ?

Livefoods by Post became a Limited company in October 2007. We are registered at companies house in England as company number 6239745. Prior to october 2007 we traded as "sole traders" under the business name of livefoods by post.

Heres how it all came about, we are basically reptile keepers who couldn't get hold of equipment or fresh livefoods that we needed because we were not fortunate enough to live near to a specialist reptile shop.

After a Holiday to spain we were amazed by the huge range of reptile supplies available in the everyday pet shops over there which made reptile keeping a mainstream hobby. Enough was enough so we decided to do something about it back home.

in 2002 we created our first paper mail order catalogue offering every single reptile product that was on the market, we soon realised that mail order catalogues were not the future and the internet was just starting to take off. ebay was the next big thing so we started to list our products on there including fresh livefoods at the same price as they were in the pet shops.

We still sell on ebay and you can find our products and feedback under the username "thepinkskink".

After a year of succesful trading on ebay we launched the website www.livefoodsbypost.co.uk and we havent looked back since.

In 2007 we opened our showroom to the Isle of Wight, a fully licensed pet shop stocking over 2000 reptile products and top quality captive bred livestock. We also opened our modern breeding and boarding facilities.
