Nano Crab (Perisesarma bidens)

 Nano or Red Clawed Crabs (Perisesarma bidens)

Are small semi aquatic Crabs, They only grow to a few centimetres in size and prefer a habitat of water and land. 

Water should be slightly brackish and kept clean via filtration or regular changes, land areas should be provided out of rocks, driftwood, mangroves etc, and ideally a complete land area of something like eco earth so that the crab can form burrows. 

Like most crabs they are scavengers and will eat prepared crab diets, small food scraps and vegetation. They are great escape artists so we reccomend housing them in an escape proof terrarium such as the exo terra glass terrariums,

They are a tropical species so a heat mat will be reuired to warm the enclosure or if a lot of water is to be utilised an aquarium heater would be required.
