This bracket has been developed by us here at livefoods by post to solve the problem of fixing ceramic light fittings into vivariums quickly and easily.
Not being fans of cheaper plastic light fittings we like to use good quality ceramic light fittings inside our vivariums, however this comes with a problem. The most common ceramic fitttings available are the t-rex ceramic lamp holder and the lucky reptile Thermo socket series. These lamp holders have a metal thread that is designed to be screwed through the roof of the vivarium. The problems with this methos are you need to drill a hole through the roof of your vivarium this means they are no longer stackable and you have an unsightly cable showing through the roof of the viv.

So we developed the uni bracket, you simply push the cable through the insert in the bracket, push the lamp holder thread through the brackets hole and tighten up the light fittings screw nuts. The bracket can the be screwed to the roof of the viv using four small wood screws (not included) or it can be attached to the viv as an angled bracket using its angle wing fixings.
