A: The wattage is evenly distributed throughout the length of the cable. (not including the cold lead)
Q: Can the heat cable be used with a plastic/acrylic/wood tank?
A: The heat cable can be used with plastic/acrylic/wood tanks. Always elevate the terrarium when using the cable on the bottom of the tank.
